The statement was made by the narrator’s six year old son Jonathan during a voyage. While the voyage started peacefully, the weather became rough during the second lap of the journey. The chances of survival were quite remote and the children knew it was a battle between life anddeath. It was at this point of time that Jonathan asked the fateful question if they were going to die. He then added that he is not afraid to die as long as they can all be together always. The title of the adventure is inspired from his statement ‘We are not afraid todie…If we can all be together’. This statement gives the narrator renewed vigor and energy to face his struggles.
