Answer:

Water, as mass, can not be destroyed or created (A small amount can be created or destroyed through nuclear methods, but in general day-to-day life we do not change water in that way) in everyday processes. Now, water in septic tank or water in the container of the kitchen is not different in the sense that both are water. But, wastage of water occurs when the drinking water / usable water goes in the drain. Why? Because, the water in the drain can't be used to drink or to wash kitchen utensils. Thus, water wastage occus from anthropocentric view.

It could be explained by a small example....

Imagine water coming out from an industry as a waste... as u know water is a universal solvent so it can dissolve any impurities which pollutes the water.....

After that.... water is unfit for drinking and bathing....

This is the main reason why we r said not to waste water....
