we usually consider those objects which are really stationary. but when you come to comparison we can say yes the tree is in motion with respect to a star or any planet since earth is moving with respect to other heavenly bodies so is tree that is on the earth. but if we go for tree moving on the earth, that's not possible because I may appear in motion but it is stationary.

Answer: All the earthy bodies including trees etc are moving at the same speed of earth but if their relative motion is zero, these are seen as static to each other.
