We see the sun rising 8/4 minutes after it has actually risen. why?

Answer: The speed of light is 3 lakh per second. The sun’s raise take time to reach on earth. Light travels through time-space with a speed 300.000 km/second.

Since distance from Earth to Sun is near 150 million of km,

150 000 000km/300 000km/sec = 500sec seconds,

hence 500sec/60sec = 8 minutes.
