We should not consume contents present in puffed cans , jars or tetra packs.Explain.

When microorganisms spoil the food stuff, gas is released. ... Hence, if the packet is puffed, it is clearly understood that the juice in it is spoiled by the microorganism and could be harmful to us if we consume it. Therefore, it is printed on tetra pack of juices "IF THE PACKET IS PUFFED DO NOT BUY".

Explanation:

As bacteria starts to develop inside the packet they start to reproduce and creates carbon dioxide as a result the food in it gets rotten and becoz of the carbon dioxide it puffs out.
