Hey There !!

Laboratory thermometer cannot be used to measure the temperature of a human body because the range of a laboratory thermometer is high generally from –10°C to 110°C, while as normal body temperature in humans is only 37°C. Also laboratory thermometer does not have a kink, so mercury falls on its own which does not

Hope it helps yaa cheerio...

Answer:

Laboratory thermometer cannot be used to measure the temperature of a human body because the range of a laboratory thermometer is high generally from –10°C to 110°C, while as normal body temperature in humans is only 37°C.

Lab thermometer has very long and has a wide range of measurement and has degrees from negative to positive values and is difficult to handle.

Explanation:

The absence of a kink results in falling off the Mercury level as soon as the thermometer is taken out to take the reading.
