In the sentence '$\bold{Rakesh\:broke\:the\: window}$' the subject of the sentence '$\bold{Rakesh}$' has done something to the '$\bold{window}$' , i.e. 'broke' it. So the sentence is in the $\bold{active\:voice}$.
