"brightly" this is an imperative sentence

"shine like a diamond", is correct,while " shine brightly like a diamond," technically isn't .the only difference is the addition of the adverb "bright", which doesn't radically change the meaning of the sentence. However, "brightens an adjective not an adverb ,and and should really be "brightly"
