• When relative humidity reaches a high enough level, the body's natural cooling system simply can't work. Sweat evaporates very slowly, if at all, and the body heats up. Hence, it feels much hotter in humid conditions.

We sweat more on a humid day bcoz on a humid day the rate of evaporation is less bcoz there is already very much amount of water vapour present in the air in a humid day . And thus the sweat does not evaporate and thus we sweat more.
