we use batteries to light a torch. A battery has chemical energy. The bulb inside the torch gives light energy . H ow do you explain this?​

Here is the EXPLANATION :-

This can be explain by The Conservation of Energy. As you know Energy can never be created nor destroyed. It can be Transformed to Other form of Energy.

Take example of Mechanical Motor :- Mechanical Energy gets Transformed to Electrical Energy.

So in Case of Torch also, chemical energy in batteries is transformed to light energy by means of circuit used in Torch.
