We usually do not see bright colors in dim light.Give reason.

If only blue light is shone onto a red shirt, the shirt would appear black, because the blue would be absorbed and there would be no red light to be reflected. Whiteobjects appear white because they reflect all colours. Black objects absorb allcolours so no light is reflected.the same principle follows the dim path into our eyes
