We were taught that we should not be greedy and we must be satisfied with whatever we have with us and thank god for all that. On the other hand, we were also taught that progress stops where we are satisfied. This leads to a confusion that we should be statisfied with what we have or we should not be because if we, then there will be no progress.

Elaborate on the topic.

Hey there!

So the question puts a question infront of us, that Should we be satisfied with what we have or not.

Infact , We shouldn't be satisfied with what we have. Day by day we must strive to be something better than yesterday. We are required to work for it, to become great.

The statement " we should not be greedy and we must be satisfied with whatever we have with us and thank god for all that " , is perfectly true and the second statement is a extension for this.

Primarily, We should not expect anything without our hardwork , if you expect something without working, it is greed. So that's why the statement says us not to be greedy but be content at what we have and thank god for that, and also try your best to be more better.

You should never be greedy that someone else has it and you don't. Because they have worked for it. You should always work and get to that level.

Progress is only when you are going in the right way with righteous efforts. So being greedy won't help you to move forward .But instead sets you back and downgrades even more .

tejasgupta: Good answer....Work hard to achieve something and never expect to get something great without working great....

yes it is rightly stated that we must be happy on what we have ....
this is stated because thinking of excess of the things or in today's world a lot money is wanted and needed by everyone.....
greed is Greed, or avarice, is an inordinate or insatiable longing for material gain, be it food, money, status, or power. As a secular psychological concept, greed is an inordinate desire to acquire or possess more than one needs.....
Fulfillment is a feeling of happiness and satisfaction. It's also the completion of something, like thefulfillment of a promise. This word has two related meanings. In terms of emotions, fulfillment is a happy, contented feeling. Order fulfillment is defined as the steps involved in receiving, processing and delivering orders to end customers. Afulfillment service is defined as a third-party company that provides theseorder fulfillment steps on behalf of another party, such as an online seller.
so it can be stated that fulfilness is best and in fact good than that of greediness..
