We wish to obtain an erect image of an object, using a concave mirror of focal length 15cm. What

should be the range of distance of the object from the mirror? What is the nature of the image? Is the

image larger or smaller than the object? Draw a ray diagram to show the image formation in this case.

We know that,

In the case of concave mirror the erect image will form only in one case .( when object place between focus and pole)

focus= -15cm

so, the object range will be less than -15 cm

nature= virtual and erect

size= image size is larger than the object

For ray diagram see above
