KE = 1/2×m×v^2

This means that KE is directly proportional to mass.
But it is directly proportional to the square of velocity of the object.

Therefore,if we double the mass of the object, it's kinetic energy also gets doubled.
But if double it's velocity kinetic energy increases by 2 square times, that is , 4 times.

So we would have a greater effect on kinetic energy if we doubled the velocity.
