The four-year-old watched it all in silence.One evening before supper the couple noticed their son working with wooden scraps on the floor. The father asked the child, "What are you making ?" Innocently the boy responded :"Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and mamma to eat your food in when you grow old." The parents were speechless. They did not utter a word. But that evening, the husband took grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table.​
