Dynasty politics, to keep the monopoly and power in hand dynasty feels insecure from other strong leaders within and outside the party, dynasty tend to sideline the deserving and keep close the sycophants who don’t go against.

Poor Quality of Leadership: Sycophant culture deteriorate the overall quality of leadership and cultivates more sycophants this the cycle in which congress is currently in.

Corruption: Sycophants are morally week people and lack self respect, easily succumb to corruption and crime, hence corruption increase.
