weather lightning affect our eyes?

Lightning itself doesn't exist for long enough to damage our retina,nor is it intense enough.It will leave the observer with a temporary "blind spot" where vision is obscured,but in general,not more than that.

well if we look directly at the lightning it may effect our eyes and if not then it wont
