When thunder and lightning occurs it is better to sit on a wooden top like wooden chairs or your wooden bed. Also it is advised not to stand under trees when you are out of home. At home try to avoid window sides , it may be harmful sometimes. Also try to avoid phone calls during this time. These are recommended during thunder and lightning.

When the weather phenomenon of the lightening, thunderstorm, huge rain takes place, there are a few things that people should be aware of or there are a few precautions people should take. They are:

• People should try to stay indoors during a spell of lightening if that’s not possible, they should never stand under a tree because it catches fire.

• People should not be out in the open because if lightning strikes none of the people will survive.

• During thunderstorms, people should close their windows and keep checking weather updates or should consult radio for further information on what to be done.
