HELLO MATE

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

We all know that rocks are responsible for the formation of the soil. Now since rocks are breaking therefore the condition of the environment must be dry or arid or something like that. Therefore strong winds, animals, etc will be able to take away small and delicate pieces of weathered rocks with them very easily. Thus reducing the amount of soil formation. Also as we have just said that the environmental conditions of that place must be dry or arid thus wind can easily take away the dry soil and erode it.

Another main reason could be that the big and heavy rocks reduces the impact of rain and wind pressure on the soil just like in the case of the trees therefore it reduces soil erosion but due to their erosion they are not able to do so thus we can say that weathering causes excessive soil erosion.
