1)Answer: “Why do you weave a garment so gay” this line explains:

Blue as the wing of a halcyon wild, We weave the robes of a newborn child. Like the plumes of a peacock, purple and green, We weave the marriage veils of a queen.

2)Answer: At dawn, the weavers are weaving a blue garment for a newborn child.

3)Answer: The poet has discussed two stages of life – childhood and adulthood.

4)Answer: The similarity between the morning time of day and the birth of a child is that each and every day is born and raised as a fresh new beginning/start. As the morning starts with a fresh sun which woke up, just like that a newborn child wakes up fresh.

5)Answer: Metaphors and similes both compare two things.

Simile: Compares two things by saying they are “like” each other; the subject IS LIKE the object. Similes remind us that a comparison is being made, which sometimes makes them easier to understand and follow.
