According to the question,

Weight of 72 books = 9kg

Weight of 1 book = 9/72

= 1/8

= 0.125kg

= 125 grams

(a) Weight of 80 books = 80×125

= 10000 grams

= 10 kg.

(b) No. of books that weight 6 kg = 6/0.125

= 48 books
