During freefall the weight of the body is zero is fully wrong , true freefall is possible only in vaccume . thus no air resistant can act on body only gravitation force can act on the body

While in a lift the weight of a body varies with the acceleration of moving down as per the following relation.

Weight =m(g -a)

In case of free fall this acceleration becomes equal to g (acceleration due to gravity). therefore,

Weight =m(g-g)

=0 kg
