Given - Weight on Earth

Find - Mass on moon

Solution - Firstly we will find mass on Earth using value of Earth's acceleration due to gravity.

W = m*g

Taking g as 10 m/s².

100 = m*10

Shifting 10 to other side of equation.

m = 100/10

Performing division

m = 10 kg

Mass of any object remains constant irrespective of its position. Hence, the mass of object on moon is 10 kg.
