Given :-

  • Force (F) = 0.2N
  • Area of screw (A) = 0.4 × 10^(-6)m²

To find :-

  • Pressure

Solution :-

As we know that

→ Pressure = Force/Area

→ Pressure = 0.2/0.4 × 10^(-6)

→ Pressure = 2/4 × 10^(-6) × 10/10

→ Pressure = 1/2 × 10^(-6)

→ Pressure = 10⁶/2

→ Pressure = 10⁵ = 100000

Hence,

  • Pressure = 10 N/

Extra Information :-

  • S.I unit of pressure is N/m² (Pascal)
  • S.I unit of Force is Newton
  • S.I unit of area is m²

Given :-

  • Weight = 0.2 Newton.

  • Area = (0.4 × 10)-⁶ m²

To Find :-

  • Pressure.

Solution :-

We know that,

Pressure = Force/Area.

⇢ Pressure = 0.2/(0.4 × 10)-⁶

⇢ Pressure = 1/2 × 10-⁶

⇢ Pressure = 10⁵

Hence, Pressure = 100000 Newton/m².
