Weights of 6 people are 85 kg, 79 kg, 34 kg, 12 kg, 77 kg and 19 kg respectively. They were about to get on to an elevator, when they saw a sign board which said that the elevator can carry only up to 300 kg. who do you think cannot go in the elevator ?

Given Weights: 85 kg, 79 kg, 34 kg, 12 kg, 77 kg, 19 kg

Sum of all weights = 85 + 79 + 34 + 12 + 77 + 19 = 306 kg

So a person with less weight must get down. So the least weight is 12 kg.

So the 122 kg person must get down so that all others can travel.

Hence the person having 12 kg must get down so that the total weight in the lift will be 294 kg which is less than 300 kg.
