I am excited to announce that Bowman will be hosting our annual Science Fair on the morning of February 26th. The event will run from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, with a brief parent coffee at 9 am and student presentations beginning at 9:30 am.
Between now and then, students from Juniors through Upper Elementary will experiment on a physics topic of their choosing. They will investigate using the scientific method, collect data, and prepare an engaging presentation of their findings. Science Fair projects represent a great deal of work toward mastering a topic, and our students will be excited to share their effort and insights!
Upper Elementary has already started to design their own experiments, while Lower Elementary and Juniors will begin their projects in February. Middle School will host a separate Science & Design Fair later in the year.
As we get closer to Science Fair, more updates will be posted online. Check the “Did You Know” section of each weekly “Looking Ahead” email for links to project information and student interviews.
