To foster our children’s spirit of Scientific inquiry and to supplement their quest for knowledge, the Sreepuram faculty and the students joined hands to organize a Science fair in connection with the Children’s day Celebration, on 12th February 2019. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Khaleel Chovva, a noted botanist, environmental activist & bird Scientist. He was the former principal of Sir Syed College, Thaliparamba and is presently the course Director, Dept. Of Environmental Studies, Kannur University. Our patron, His Ex.Mar .Joseph Pandarasseril presided over the function and the school principal delivered the welcome address.
It was a great opportunity for the students of Sreepuram for implementing the things they have learned and also to apply their ideas and present things differently in their own unique way. The chief guest and the other dignitaries present appreciated the various projects of the students. Everyone was pleased with the way the students explained the functions to the viewers. The whole auditorium was filled with numerous exhibits. To enlist a few there were, path finding robot, automatic street light system, rain water harvesting, Indigenous missiles and rockets, smart city, hydrolic bridge, Drone, 3D animation etc. After all it was a great day for the students at Sreepuram, as they could showcase their skills, know and learn more about the wonders of science.
