Wellness refers to the ideal fitness made up of both internal as well as external components. According to WHO, “Wellness is a state of physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease." According to National Wellness Institute, "Wellness is an active process through which people become aware of and make choices towards a more successful existence.” Wellness is the ability of an individual to live a mentally, physically, socially and emotionally balanced life. Wellness is a programme that leads the individual to know how he can remain fit.
