Answer:

Yes, I think that Sita and Draupadi were both victims of male dominated societies.

In the case of Sita, she was made to cross a bed of fire after being kidnapped by Raavan. She was truthful in her dealings yet Rama was pressurized by the societal judgement which is why Sita had to prove her purity. Lord Hanuman and Lakshman all doubted Sita.  The fact of fear of pressure of society indeed suggests that she was a victim of the male dominated society.  Not to mention how judgmental they all were. Even if something had happened with Ma Sita, it wouldn't have been her fault. She was forcibly taken away, not by choice. On the other hand in the case of Draupadi,  her vast haran was a case of victimization at the hands of male dominance and power play in the society.

However some critics say that she was a dangerous woman who never lived in such an institution for she ruled over the Pandavas and created a cadre out of her many husbands, children, brothers, etc. This view powered her a bit.

Answer:

Yes, I think that Draupadi and Sita were both victims of the male dominated societies. Sita was forced to cross the fire-bed after returning from the custody of Ravana to prove her purity in front of the society.

On the other hand, Draupadi is considered as a materialistic asset by her husbands who used her as a bet. She was assaulted in front of many people.
