Answer:

let one number be = a

then , another number will be = 16a ( that is one number is 16 times from the other one.)

So , the product of two is given as 1296

product of two numbers = 1296

a × 16a = 1296

16a² = 1296

a² = 1296 ÷ 16

a² = 81

a = 9 ( as 81 is the square of 9 )

1st number = a = 9

2nd number = 16a = 16 × 9

= 144 .
