Active Voice refers to a sentence where the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

For example: Brent is writing a song. (Active)

A song is being written by Brent. (Passive)

"Were you leaving the house unlocked?" (Active)

"Was the house being left unlocked by you?" (Passive)

Hope it helps :)
