earthworms are friends of farmers because the actors good decomposer. earthworms live inside the soil so when they go inside the soil come out of it they make the soil loose so that the water and air can penetrate properly and thus provide proper aeration to the soil. earthworms excreta also fertilize the soil they help in formation of humus which is very much rich in minerals and nutrients.
