»Globalisation : It is the interlinking of the different parts of the world by sharing of ideas, goods, foodstuff and even diseases.

» It had a great impact on India. Some points that describe this impact are as follows :

1.) Indian spices, clothes, etc. were shared through the silk routes.

2.) Many Indians were forcefully taken as slaves by the British to different parts of the world for slavery.

3.) New technology and foodstuff was introduced in India only because of globalisation.
