political equality refers to the equality of each citizen's individual rights and liberty. In a politically equal society, citizens who are unequal socially or financially still possess identical voting rights and have the right to expect equitable treatment under the law.

political equality means granting equal citizenship to all members of the state and also to ensure condition that allow the citizens to participate in the affairs of the state . political equality brings along with it certain rights such as right to vote , right to contest election , right to criticize the government etc....
