Bile or gall is a dark green to yellowish brown fluid, produced by the liver of most vertebrates, that aids the digestion of lipids in the small intestine. In humans, bile is produced continuously by the liver (liver bile), and stored and concentrated in the gallbladder (gallbladder bile).

1)Bile juice is secreted by the liver and stored in the gall bladder .

2)For the digestion of fats, the food must be first made alkaline .This alkalinity is brought about by the bile juice .

3)Whenever the food enters the small intestine the bile juice is released by the gall bladder and it makes the food alkaline .

4)It also breaks the large fat globules into the simple substances and thus makes the digestion very easy.
