Anonymous: if a and b are 2 rational numbers then , formula for the rational number between them is a+b/2 answer is 3+4/2 = 7/2 . the rational number between 3 and 7/2 is 3+7/2 /2 = 13/4 . and rational number between 7/2 and 4 is 7/2+4 / 2 = 15/4 . rational number between 3 and 13/4 is 3+13/4 / 2= 25/8. the rational numbers are 7/2 , 13/4 , 15/4 , 25/8 . there are infinite number of rational numbers between two rational numbers
