It has blubber which is a thick layer of white fat.
We know that camel stays in deserts and the problem of water in deserts is not new. So sometimes camel has to stay without water for many days and walk in the desert. Thus it has to use energy without intake of energy. So in this blubber it stores extra fat that provides it energy during such times. Some people say it stores water in this blubber which is a wrong fact. True reason is here..

Camels have long and steady legs that protect their body from the hot sand. They also have broad feet that helps them to walk non sand without sinking. Camels have long eyelashes and nose hair that protects their eyes and nose from the hot sand. They have a hump that acts as a reservoir and provides nutrition. It can last without water for more than one week.
