is a current scalar or vector because current referent as scalar but it has magnitude and direction

scalar quantity is one which has magnitude but no direction. A vectorquantity is one which has bothmagnitude and direction. Thedirection of current is opposite to the flow of electrons. Electric current hasboth magnitude and direction so ideally it 'should' be a vector.
