Eukaryotes is an organism consisting of a cell or cells in which the genetic material is DNA in the form of chromosomes in a distinct nucleus. Eukaryotes include all living organisms other than the eubacteria and archaebacteria.

The oragamisms made up of eukaryotic cells i.e. a well defined nucleus with a nuclear membrane are called eukaryotes. They have membrane bound cell organelles and reproduce by meotic and mitotic means. They contain more than one DNA molecules. E.g. human cheek cell, plant cells etc.
