If this is a method to solve pollution, then i must say its not quite sane. While it sounds wonderful, the process of splitting oxygen from say WATER is extremely costly.

The other thing is that too much oxygen is also bad for humans... So a perfect balance of nitrogen, oxygen etc must be there in the air if pollution has to be gotten rid of.
