the leaves of the plants are in the color of green it because of an organelle know as chlorophyll which is a part of the chloroplast. this leaves would normally be in green color because of this chlorophyll, the more the chlorophyll the more the green color for the leaves. mostly the all the plants have their leaves in green color but some plants have their leaves in yellow, brow etc. because they contain less amount of organelle know as chlorophyll.
