According to Keats the presence of beautiful things such as the sun, the moon, the trees and its shade for the beautiful docile sheep, the daffodils and the green meadows around them always keep us tied to earth. The poet here means human beings continue to look forward to living life just because of the presence of beautiful things. They even bear sorrows, undertake struggles, strife, pain, and loneliness just because there is hope of beautiful things in our life.

According to Keats, there are numerous problems in this life yet people find a reason to love life. It is because of the beautiful life experiences and every day’s pleasures that we derive from beautiful objects and life itself. He views life and its experiences as a way to provide humans with the meaning of life hence eliminating the desolation and hopelessness from our souls.
