Apart from being the first Prime minister of independent India, Jawaharlal Nehru also managed the foreign policies as the external Affairs Minister.

The foreign policy of India was called as the Foreign policy of Nehru.

(ii) non-aggressive bahaviour,

(iii) non interference in the internal affair of another country,

(iv) mutual benefit and equality and (v) peaceful existence of all nations.
