He was ready to find the bird of happiness risking his very own life. Secondly, he was very brave and courageous. He was not scared of being punished by all the three monsters. Although his food was snatched, his eyeballs were gouged out and the road was made sharp by knifes, he didn't accept defeat and walked on till his last breath, finally reacbing to the bird.
