does it simply states that mass can become energy and visa versa?

E=mc² is probably the most famous formula which is a part of the great theory of General Relativity by Albert Einstein.
In this formula the potential present in one particle is given.
E is energy, m is mass while c is the speed of light.
Thus after you substitute the values of any particle it states how serious power is there in any particle.
