Transportation generally occurs through the miniscule pores, which are called as stomata.

To reduce transpiration, one should remove stomata that are formed in leaves.

However, it is merely impossible to remove stomata, as these are very tiny in size.

The other best thing is to remove the leaves on which stomata is formed.

In deserted plants, cactus will not have any leaves, but have spikes to avoid transpiration that actually results in loss of water.
