Nuclear power energy is cleaner than fossil fuels.

  • Fossil fuels produce poisonous gases on burning while nuclear power generates clean energy .it is produced by bombarding uranium with neutrons. It does not produce direct carbon dioxide and indirectly produced emissions cause negligible harm to the environment.
  • The energy produced by nuclear power is much greater than the energy produced by fuels. It is about 8000 times more efficient than fuel.

Answer:

The advantages of nuclear power have the burning of fossil fuels are listed below-

  • The incremental climate change risk when to it comes to nuclear power plant is none, whereas the fossil fuels are potentially catastrophic.
  • Air pollution due to nuclear power plant is relatively low, meanwhile the air pollution caused by fossil fuels ranges from severe to moderate.
  • Water pollution due to nuclear power can be avoided if the disposal is carefully designed, but in the case of fossil fuel water pollution is often severe especially at coal mines and oil fields.
