Taking Risk
John A Shedd has beautifully said: ‘A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.’ Similarly, a man who wishes to advance and progress in any filed must develop the art and skill of taking risks. Risks are daring moves to explore the unexplored; and new things, discoveries, innovations can only be found in the unexplored sphere.
However, one must take risks smartly and gingerly; one must not rush to take risks. One must do all the preparation required to take risks. All great men and women who achieved phenomenal success, took risk wisely. So one must take risks very carefully.
