The child sees many things, first he sees a toy shop. Then he sees a flowering  mustard field where he sees insects like dragonflies, butterflies, etc. He enters a grove where he sees doves cooing. He came across sweet shops and then a flower shop. He meets a man selling rainbow coloured balloons and also sees a snake charmer.

He keeps lagging because he is fascinated by the things he comes across; either for admiring the beauty of nature or else to stare at things he'd like to have (balloons, toys, etc).
