Aunt Ruby bought a parrot from a bird catcher who used to visit her locality carrying different species of birds. She wanted to teach the bird to talk.
After making several attempts to make the bird talk and be friendly with her but failed , she finally became hostile towards the bird and started passing bad comments, taunted her and even made faces at the bird.
She finally became upset when one day the parrot knocked her specks from her face. This made her stay aloof from the daily activities of the bird. It was now the responsibility of Aunt`s nephew to take care of the daily chores of the bird.
He used to feed the bird with ripe tomatoes and green chillies from his hand which even the bird cherished. This was followed by a slice of mango . At times even he used to consume few mangoes on the pretext of feeding the bird.
